History
RFP MD was formed in October of 2005 by George Brumis, a 20-year advertising professional from Chicago with a unique background in both creative and business development.
When George was first introduced to the RFP process, he questioned the conventional wisdom that saw the more analytical, left-brained team members doing the proposal writing, versus the more creative, right-brained associates.
A light bulb went on.
Why not approach an RFP from a creative, problem-solving point of view, and win over prospective customers with every proposal page turned?
Better yet, why not start a company committed to writing and designing proposals that are rock-solid from a business standpoint and captivating from a creative perspective?
We know what you’re thinking: “Sounds good in theory, but how about in practice?”
Well, since opening our doors, 83% of our RFP responses and presentations have propelled our clients into the next round of their pitches—many of which have resulted in account wins.
What’s more, we’ve been successful with many non-pitching projects for clients, including: boilerplate proposals; proposal design systems; target and competitor research; minority vendor matchmaking; brand audits; online and offline marketing; business development plans; and agency search and reviews from RFP development to final selection.
To better serve our clients, RFP MD draws from the talents of a variety of industry veterans and business partners from California to New Hampshire. Our consultants specialize in strategy, business development, proposal training, project management, copywriting, proofreading, design, proposal software and web technology.
